And her wig is horribly crooked. I need to call CS. I really don't think I'll get another one, just send this one back. She's pretty, but not exceptional, as far as I'm concerned. She really resembles Nellie, to me. I guess I'll just get some of those beautiful outfits, in Sept.

Ria...I won't judge her by the book. But I don't think the doll is overly pretty. She has almost no facial coloring, for one thing. And there is nothing that wows me about her. I was hoping to open the box and be blown away...but I wasn't. Maybe she'll grow on me. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Sorry the wig was bad though. Maybe you should just keep her for a few days and then decide if you want another one sent out. You get really quick delivery too!
I'm still trying to be good and hold off. Not because I don't like her, but this year I'm just having a hard time justifying two dolls at Christmas. And Felicity MUST come out of that closet for this Christmas, poor girl!

I definitely don't think the uneven wig helped with the first impression. It could've even caused a 'letdown' feeling.
Laurie...I think I have too many dolls again. When they all start looking the same...I've got problems.
I didn't like Nellie at first, either. I sold my first one on eBay. Then DH and the kids got me another one, months later, for my birthday. I love her to pieces.

So sorry about the wig, that would be frustrating. It took me three trys to get a "good" Kirsten though. I would love to live near AGP so I could pick one myself. We live about 9 hours from Chicago and have only been there once. My dd's were able to pick a doll which was great!

I have a Kirsten doll that has to come out of hiding too! She has been there for 2 years because my DD keeps changing her mind. First it was Josefina, then AGT23. She will be getting Kirsten Christmas instead of another doll she can't "live without". I seriously doubt that she will mind though because she does love Kirsten. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I didnt know that they could send a doll out to you while you still have the other. Do they have a time limit on that? Im asking because although I love my Marisol to pieces, her one eye is slightly larger than the other, and also seems to look (very slightly) in another direction. Like a lazy eye. You cant really see it at a glance, but once you look close (and Im a perfectionist) it really stands out. My ma discouraged me from going through the hassle of getting a replacement, saying that Ill just learn to ignore it, but unfortunately everytime I look at her its what I see [img]frown.gif[/img] Would it still be possible for me to tell CS about this and have them ship me another while I keep the one I have, just in case I dont like the one they send me instead? [img]confused.gif[/img]
